Wyness - Resigned

So you reckon it was a "Moyes or me" type of thing?

Dunno Bainsey, but if DM thought or suspected that KW wasn't supporting him in the negotiations then i'd fully expect DM to blow his lid over it, as i say , its all conjecture at the moment, but i'm very wary of any knock on effect affecting what really matters to us all.

So the premise here is that, having reduced the wage bill by selling Faddy et al (Stubbsy, Lee Carsley etc etc), together with the next trance of TV money and £13M or so from AJ, plus the Rooney bonus we can't find £20-25M for new blood?

So here's a pretty simple solution - bring 2 big signings in, get a few younger players blooded (experience and low wages for now) and hey presto! Oh did I forget put 10p on a pint at the ground, 20p on the programme, £1 on the ticket prices..... it's not bloody rocket science.

I have thought for a while that something major is wrong orther wise Moyes contract would be signed I have heard rumours before Moyes is not keen on him and vice versa but just put it down to the [Poor language removed] type of romour monger:huh:

It's amazing how a ridiculous story like this, which is based on nothing whatsoever other than rumour and speculation, can be so readily believed. Just ask yourselves, if the same channels had reported that Everton were to put in a £25m bid for Berbatov, would you believe them ? Of course not.

It's all down to psychology. We've all been kept in the dark for weeks and months about the club's intentions in the transfer market, we've been frustrated by the lack of meaningful activity, so gradually we've sunk into pessimism and allowed our most sinister fears and suspicions to take hold. Positive stories are regarded with scepticism, while negative stories, no matter how flimsy and improbable, tend to be believed.

Get a grip.

If true, this is the sort of news I have been really hoping to hear.

However, the team on the pitch is my first priority and I hope it doesn't rock the boat at this delicate and important time with regard to transfers, especially with the first kick off not far away.

I see two scenarios, both already mentioned. My first thought is that they have heard that Kirkby is done for. Secondly that him and DM (and possibly BK) have fallen out over transfer spending.

I also feel that maybe BK has taken a back seat and has now realised that KW may be making choices he doesn't agree with? Maybe a falling out over several things??

Bullshit.

Just seen Wyness at 5-ways chippie(he had a monster portion of chips with curry on it, 3 sosages a fish an 2 butted balms. oh an a chicken wing. An a 3lt rola cola), said he was on his way to sign barlow back up!!

I can see the headlines in the Echo already - Bully Beef and Chips..

Bully complained about (insert favourite topic here) and got his chips last night...

I think more people are questioning how reliable this is because the major decision on the stadium is any day now/soon and Wyness did state he would resign if it got called in, so putting 2+2 together.

i wont take it as absolute fact just yet,but i'd like to see what reaction comes out of the club.

although could this be a coy by blue kipper to prove they can get visitors without the forum?

I think you mean ploy*, so to prove they can get visitors they make something up which if not true would stop people believing anything they ever write again?

Hmmm thats cunning from them for sure, like a fox.
