Anyone who thinks Trump is doing a good job negotiating peace please let me know why? Everyone walking this planet knows that if Russia retreated tomorrow the war would be over and we could all crack, but we’re in a situation where Trump hasn’t criticised Putin once, yet found time to call Zelenskyy a dictator without elections, at this point it’s worth noting that Churchill didn’t hold elections whilst we were were at war in the 1940’s and also turned up at the white house without a suit. [Poor language removed] Trump. [Poor language removed] MAGA and [Poor language removed] Marjorie Taylor-Greene.

It's already happening - any cuts to Medicaid is hitting MAGA hard in rural areas

Tariffs will hit farmers hard. And subsidies not being paid by the gov't as well.

MAGA is finding out
For sure. But we have to remember Trump doesn’t care about the backbone of America. We (those who paid any attention to the campaign) saw him telling billionaires they’d be getting massive tax cuts if he became president again. Fair play to the person who filmed it on their phone.

No one outside the MAGA cult thinks this. You won't find them here

Exactly... Announce tariffs, shares drop, Walk back on the tariffs shares rise, and in between is the time to buy, after is the time to sell....He knows what he's doing.
I’m no economist but organisations like Morgan Stanley are significantly lowering their growth forecasts for 2025, citing Trumps tariff policies.

As for the walk back on already imposed tariffs I’d say a lot of that was due to pressure from US farmers rather than any pre-conceived cash-in scheme run by Trumps buddies.

Having said all this, I’m sure certain Trump rats are making a lot of money from this market uncertainty

Market uncertainty is exactly what is needed for those in the know to do very well for themselves.

Even if a moderate wins the next US election and normal service is resumed (a big ‘if’), the damage has been done to American hegemony and the established world order.

The US is in the process of losing massive amounts of power through mis-trust.
Sounds like they don't want it. They've plundered their pals for protection over the decades at the cost of 'protection' and now there's easier wealth to be acquired by force. Can't beat em? Join em!

Trump knows he does not need voters to be 're-elected ' to 3rd term he just needs approval by SCOTUS, Justice Department and Congress - he owns them all and is busy replacing any civil servant with a brain so that his supporters own everything. Bill Mahr said, and I agree, there may never be another election in the United States.
