You’d think he’d be perfect satire material for Trey Parker and Matt Stone in a Team America sequel
@matty1878, enjoy lad while we are still heremy opinion here but who ever sets one off then they all go off and we say goodbye to the world

Thinking about those two along similar lines earlier today. Maybe they're gonna have a run at replacing Trudeau. You’d think he’d be perfect satire material for Trey Parker and Matt Stone in a Team America sequel
Yeah I sense a lot of regret in all but the most deludedFrom looking at the polls, it looks like the reality of a Trump America is starting to hit home to people who voted for him too.
It seemed like a lot of Americans were prepared to overlook the fact he is a monster, for his promises of more money in their pockets and lower prices.
ukraine has to be undefeated, this essay was written by Robin Horsfall, ex SAS and knows a bit about this sort of kerfuffleWe should tell them to GTF. The US is no longer a reliable ally.
Trump won't guarantee Ukraine's security.
Either Putin will conquer Ukraine - then Moldova and the Baltics, or we stand against him in Ukraine with no guarantees from the US, which will probably lead to WW3.
I am deeply, deeply concerned.

Another reason Ukraine must win!
In the past three years, the free and democratic nations of the west have invested billions to preserve the security of Ukraine. The determination and courage of the Ukrainians combined with the cajoling and enthusiastic support of Boris Johnson persuaded the world to stand up to Russian aggression. The would’ve, should’ve and could’ve tribe still rant on about past failures but at last in 2022 we united and stood up against the bully.

Now, Ukraine must win. We all know about the potential threat of Putin’s Russia, of Putin’s desire to create a new Soviet Empire. We know that he will sacrifice his entire population on the battlefield to achieve his aims, but there is another reason Ukraine must win. A reason that didn’t exist three years ago.
The Ukrainian military is now the largest military force in Europe. It is estimated to be 900,000 strong. It is the best equipped, most experienced, and most professional army in the world. Ukraine is now the leading innovator is modern warfare. Ukraine developed marine drones that can sink capital ships. They sank a third of the Black Sea Fleet and forced them to leave Crimea. They have developed reconnaissance drones that can see men and machines in the dark and through fog. Their attack drones can kill tanks and armoured vehicles before they even get to the battle front. Airborne drones shoot down enemy helicopters. In the drone war Ukraine is King!
Ukraine is penetrating Russian air defences and destroying their infrastructure, their economy, and their ability to wage war. Ukraine has assassination teams that are hitting high ranking members of the Russian military. Partisans and Special Forces are operating deep within Russia destroying train lines and factories.
Should Russia end up controlling Ukraine’s army, that mighty weapon could be turned (grudgingly) to face west. The Ukrainian army would dominate Europe’s eastern borders and could defeat the combined efforts of our small, inadequate armies. Ukraine is Europe’s tough guy and must become part of the European Union and NATO. If that cannot be achieved, then security agreements must be made between Ukraine and its neighbours. Ukraine must win; Ukraine must be allowed to join us as a free democratic entity. There must be no more Minsk agreements. No more half-hearted exercises in expediency. Ukraine must win and
Putin must be made to beg for peace. Anything else is just ‘kicking the can down the road.’
In the 20th Century the British trained and armed all of it’s future enemies. We must not make that error in Ukraine.
Ukraine is our Frankenstein creation. We helped created it, we gave it life and strength. Now we are duty bound to feed and clothe it.
If we do not it could turn and destroy its creators.
Slava Ukraini!

...was waiting for someone to bring this up, it's been playing games with my subconscious.America can’t be relied upon as an ally for at least the next four years. Hopefully that leads to greater European solidarity and cooperation.
Having said that, there’s no need to worry about an imminent world war unless Everton win the league.
A sulking, petulant Trump will have a very itchy trigger finger.Yup that’s the unprecedented move I was referencing. He’d try it of course but you would think he’s already losing supporters and in 3 years time he’s going to be very unpopular
Longer. Even if they manage to elect someone in 2028 who isn't a maniac, and isn't in the thrall of the broligarchs, who can say what they'll do at the following election?America can’t be relied upon as an ally for at least the next four years. Hopefully that leads to greater European solidarity and cooperation.
