Would you want our new manager to celebrate mediocrity?

Well, would you?

Be nice to just get in the Champions League, as it stands it's actually impossible for us to get to the final of it because we are n't good enough to be in the competition in the first place. I'd love to get to the League Cup final as it stands. On the other hand, no I wouldn't like the manager celebrating after losing the final whilst the fans are heartbroken.

apparently madrid were lucky, not sure how your keeper throwing the ball at a man two yards away is luck, but there we go. Bale's overhead was flukey though, it could have not gone in. :dodgy:

Oh come on. Stop hating for hating sake. We have been crying out for a manager that bonds with the fans. We failed to have a rapport with RK, we failed to have one with SA and the one we had with RM we turned toxic. I understand how RM let us down but to his credit it worked his socks of to try and maintain the bond he'd earned from his 1st season. Now another (albeit rival club) has a manager who has the time to encourage not only his players, but the fans, we mock that too. As a club, we need a manager like that. I've never seen that lot over the park so unified. Meanwhile we still bicker over the size of banner to drag behind the plane. Hopefully the next one isn't 'Silva out'. If we're not careful, we may just turn bitter.....

Ha. Having drank til the early hours after an underserved 1-1 draw at home with Coventry kept us up in 98, I’m pretty sure I’d be ok with a runners up position in the champions league.

Were they not calling for the manager's head with Hodgson and Rodgers.

They have a manager who's got them to 2 european finals and a league cup,and finished twice in the top 4 for CL football, they look to be overhauling their average midfield and are very strong financially with owners willing to spend with a manger who can recruit top players,i can understand the upbeat mood with the RS fans.

We would be in utopia with that what's going on and off the pitch over there and we would be no where near calling for a manager's head.

Moyes as here for 10 years, got 1 top 4 finish and the only thing he won was a LMA award and some manager of the month accolades.

Haha what a thread. If getting top players inn, finishing top 4 and getting to the final of CL is mediocrity then wow. Klopp is a top manager.

Unbelievable.
