Oh and another thing I don't understand is that people call Ibrahim Afellay (someone who doesn't have a bond with Everton at all) a snide, for turning down Everton, but would be happy to welcome back Rooney. No I am not. This thread was all about asking a simple question and inviting a response albeit perhaps an emotional one, but a personal yes or no. If you do not like Rooney then I take it you would say no. So what is so hard about saying that.

Just don't get one thing...how can we be so desperate for having someone back who we boo so much whenever we play man utd at home. Then, we sound as if we hate that prick. The second we get to know that that there's a 1 % chance he'll come back then 82% people vote in favour of him coming back. WHy? just cos he's a worldclass player. He's not the one who'll take us up there among the title contenders...it's all of the aquad,fans,manager. We can live better without rooney.

It's an absolute joke to me how people want him back and wana forget everything. back then we couldn't say no cos we couldn't offer him champs league football.
