Regardless of the tactical ineptitude of the current manager koemen never even had tactics or was even bothered about training the players, paid to play golf.

Rather take Koeman back than Martinez or Moyes. He delivered what was expected of him in his first season and then was given a hospital pass with the players bought by Walsh.

No manager would have gotten a tune out of that lot. Would be interesting to see what he could have done with this group. Thankfully or unthankfully he won't come back even if we asked him to.

Just when I thought this next manager (if it even happens) discussion couldn't get any worse, I see this thread.

These are the names on that other poll:
  • Paul Cook
  • Alan Pardew
  • Rafael
  • Ian Holloway
  • David Moyes
  • Alan Stubbs
  • Phil Neville
  • Gary Neville
  • Neville Neville
Now we want to think about Koeman, and Ive also read bring back Martinez. Is this all a joke, seriously? Im as loyal as the next person on here, but if we EVER appoint any of the likes of these I would seriously consider my fandom for this club. Come on guys - do you see any of those people being able to push up into even the top TEN in the PL??? OMG!

It's mostly jokes mate :)

No, as if he'd want too anyway.

Got a lot right that most people don't ever bring up but ultimately got too many big things wrong and made the situation unsalvageable for himself. Shame because he is a good manager in the right sort of job.

At his age he's not going to build a club anywhere, he's only interested in working part time and not developing youngsters.

If Silva goes we'll likely just take a punt on an unknown from abroad.
