Would you see Rodwell go for 30m?

Another sneaky headline.

At least the board are giving us ample time to brace ourselves. Tossers.

To me the comments from Moyes mean that Rodwell is as good as sold. However unless the deal is already agreed in principal Moyes should not be conceeding the fact that we need to sell (even though everyone aleady knows that is the case) because this puts us in a weaker negotiating position.

I don't mind if we sell Rodwell, I think £25 million would be very good business for us.

I really hope we hold on to Fellaini, we would miss him alot more. I would be dissapointed to see him go for less than £40 million!

I would take Fellaini over Rodwell any day of the week, Marouane is like a talisman for our team, just like Arteta used to be. Getting rid of him would be a terrible shame, regardless of the cost.

Well never get £30m for Rodwell - not this year anyway. He not even a first team start when everyone is fit. Media hype.

Hes a great plyer though - but this hype wont help him ullfill his potential at Goodison or anywhere else. Warch Carol flop at Anfield. He should have stayed at Newcastle for a few year more before he went anywhere - and never to Anfield!

In our current situation it'd be hard to say no to 30million. But I think we've got to have achievable target players we could go in for to replace Rodwell. He has massive potential and I'm not expecting amazing things from him anytime soon, but in years to come he could be awesome and it'd be a shame if we're forced to sell.

Moyes has said today there is no truth in the Rodwell to Utd rumours. He said there has been no contact. Also last summer Rodwell signed a new deal. If there was genuine interest from Utd he'd have not signed the new deal. Deptie these stupid tapping up rules, Rodwells agent would know Fergusons intentions towards Rodwell and had their been any real suggestion he might be interested in the next year or so, he wouldn't have signed a new deal. The Rodwell to Utd or any top club rumours are based totally on hype. No top club is going to be interested in a 20 year old who isn't a nailed on starter for Everton. Top clubs pay big money for players they feel are ready to impact on the starting XI. When Rodwell starts dominating games for Everton and plays regularly for England, brace yourselves for big bids. Until then, expect constant media hype linking him with big money tranfsers for clubs who don't need or want him. When Fellaini is linked with Chelsea worry, as he's proven himself worthy of a big money transfer to a CL club.
