Agree with Tubes - go every time except for the lepers under Moyes - surrender in the big games is more or less his default but too much to bear seeing how cr@p they are and how we should wipe the floor with them.

Careful mate, you'll be called a Kopite - for being sick of getting beat by Liverpool in major games. Apparently, being hurt so deep by terrible, limp losses to Liverpool makes you a fan of Suarez.

Not sure how that logic works but that's what happens on here anyway.

Miserable gits.

(And Tubey, I recall you being called a Kopite for "celebrating" an Everton defeat. But don't let that get in the way eh...)

Actually, it was wanting an Everton defeat against Sunderland because I dreaded another loss against Liverpool on the big occasion. I'm not sure how that's getting in the way of anything, given that's exactly what I'm talking about.

Or do you mean the Man Utd game we drew that I said I wouldn't mind an Everton loss as it would mean a United title that would really get under Liverpools skin? Pretty sure that doesn't make me a Kopite!

been to wembley five times seen us win 3 lose 2 and losing has even cost me my job the following monday as i made a woman cry got disciplined and then sacked.

with chelsea, man united and man city still in the cup i would rather play one of them in the quarter finals and take them out than go to wembley and get beat tamely.

wembley is really expensive and such a pain in the arse.

Did you propose?

Can't believe anyone would NOT want to see Everton at Wembley. It's why we follow football, it's a great day out and we have got a reasonable record there.
The memories that really hurt are the one-nil defeats in 1968 and 1985, both of which we were expected to win easily. Apart from that, I've always had a great night out after the game, even when we've lost.

I`m one of those who thinks Wembley should be for the final only.
Semis should be either on neutral ground, or over two legs IMO.

You are right of course. Playing the semis at Wembley is one of the trillion things that are wrong with the FA Cup.

that said I woud always prefer to go deep into the FA Cup Wemnbley or not. Big semis and Finals against big clubs is waht we should aspire to.

In it to win it.
The Wembley defeats I have experienced are some of the worst moments of my life, no getting away from that. Liverpool in 86 was by far the worst day of my supporting life, BUT the fear of losing should not take away the fact that if you don't want to get into these big, high pressured games then what is the point? Yes, we have lost more than our fair share in my lifetime but you have to hope that maybe this year is our year. Lets get to Wembley again and believe we can bring the cup home!

Haha that was me. But you celebrated when Pienaar scored so we're all friends again... you kopite.

To be fair mate, if us beating United handed Liverpool the title, I would still rather beat United. I want Everton to win every single game we are involved in, I'm only bothered about theteam we are playing against. If a Liverpool win benefitted us, I'd rather Liverpool win, for the most part though, I want them to lose, and lose horribly.
