I can't remember when they first started transfer windows but I remember before they existed their was less of this summer madness because you could sign a player at any point during the season.

I know that bookies odds aren't much to go by generally... But at odds like 1/4 it starts to get quite convincing.

It's usually the speed at which they shorten rather than the absolute price that is a signal, but it's starting to seem likely.
