You're moving away from Potter to a 'new manager'
You're moving away from 777 to ' whoever it is'
It's about Dyche being replaced by Potter, it's not going to happen.
that’s fine, but you mentioned one of the reasons it won’t happen is because we can’t afford to sack him. Which again imo that’s nonsense. If it’s just dyche v potter, don’t bring up we can’t afford to sack then

We can't afford to sack him, we won't be appointing Potter anytime soon, vault me, get over it.

We can afford to sack him mate and we will . Onana going, holgate, Keane, Godfrey, maupay, DCL ? 6 or 7 out of contract, 2 loans gone. Plenty of money to get rid
We will need to replace those that are leaving though.

Again, im not trying to be disrespectful to you because I certainly understand your points re: Dyche.

The thing is im more concerned about how the squad looks post this year. This is a massive factor that is peripherally linked to the manager.

Possibly the below?

Contracts:
Gomes
Holgate
Alli?
Young

Contract/Sale (not sure on status)
Maupay
Godfrey
Keane
Gueye

Potential sales
DCL
Onana (seems likely)
Branthwaite (seems inevitable unfortunately)

Loan expiry
Danjuma
Harrison

Possibly also some unexpected sales too.

The squad is really light so i would assume the salary savings and any sale proceeds will go toward the squad reconstruction.

Similarly though, if there is a significant change in squad and if those players are selected wisely we may be in a position to look at a different manager to compliment them.

But (i hate starting a sentence with but) all of this is a moot point until the ownership/psr issues get solved.

He may leave 🤣 he will be sacked, so the worst run in our history is down to the sins of the past. Also his home form is worse than Lampard, so going of this season at goodison none of them games at gimmes.

We need to pray we score first in them
I do agree the current spell since the fulham LC game has been substandard, no getting around that i do think the external events of the season have had some impact.

I also agree the remaining games aren't gimmies but if he can't get points from them then yeah, he should be sacked.

Bored of replacing manager after manager expecting different results with a club that doesn’t buy the correct players, doesn’t invest in the best players, keeps getting done for ffp, and can’t find a way out of a relegation battle for the previous 3 seasons, yet all we do is bin managers off and hire someone else, they generally steady the ship for a few games then the wheels fall off again and we start it again. It’s been nothing but a manager merry go round since Moyes left. Our up’s where getting Carlo and James, who nobody even got to see live, and the low’s have been fighting relegation year after year. But jibbing the manager again. Who can actually be bothered.

Some of you lot actually deserve the club as it is. You've presumably watched us go through manager after manger in recent years, never seeing any real change and you still think that jibbing Dyche off for your latest flavour of the mouth shout in Potter would change anything long-term! Ffs, what's it gonna take for you lot to see reality for how it is?! You'll be back here screaming for Potter to go too after he's had six mouths!🙄

Yes wee will need to replace. A lot of them, again it will be a few loans and free’s to bulk out the squad with hopefully 4/5 first teamers, I’m hoping we don’t sell Branthwaite this summer.

I don’t really want dyche to have a lot of min eg burning a hole in his pocket, bectit wiol be more beto’s and Harrison will definitely be signed and more full backs that can’t go forward.

Everything still up in be air with the new owners, but if they or another group, I think a fresh start across the club would be, what I’d like to see
