Would you let Farhad Moshiri name the new ground after himself?

Should we let Farhad Moshiri name any future stadium after himself?

Wrigley Field.

Guaranteed Rate Stadium.

Your pick.

I bet somebody here can think of even worse names for stadia. Think of the worst sponsor you can summon and how much dosh you'd have to have in hand to swallow saying over and over for one year. Two. Three.

Here's where we differ, t. For me, it would take enough to pay for the wages and transfer bill for a NEW top striker (or whatever we need most) each and every year to accept the hated moniker. Leverage this, t. Don't give it away. Play the looooong game.

Don't be too eager. Start talking about the history and integrity of the club and the game, and our long relationship with Goodison Park. No need to even show a bit of leg yet.

Surely there's a middle ground.

"No thanks, we would never call the ground that. We'll take less money from others instead"

*checks on SportPesa rumors for hopeless affirmation

Wigan's DW Stadium,
Wycombe's Adams Park,
Reading's Madejski Stadium,
Oxford's Kassam Stadium,
Huddersfield and the formerly named McAlpine Stadium

If the new ground gets built would you let Farhad follow suit and name our future ground after himself?

I'd rather he called it the Royal Liver Stadium to be honest, but if he wants to name it after himself then I'm fine with that.

Let's face it, it's his and he can if he wants to.

He could buy and sell me
.

Not true Groucho, you're priceless.
