Would we go bust if relegated ?

We'd be down for years like Leeds and Nottingham Forest.

That could be right. Top players would have to go to get money and cut the wages bill, TV money would be greatly reduced, and ground income would go down IMO. RM would leave so new manager needed.

If we did not get back within the first year then it could a long tenure down there. However it should be avoidable.

We'd probably find that selling the club isn't nearly as difficult as we've been led to believe.

And also that no one is interested in taking on most of the supposedly great players in the squad.

For starters Barkley would only be worth £20m instead of £60m
Coleman would be worth 10 instead of £25m
McCarthy would be worth 15 instead of £30m
How are we in this position again with all this talent

Osman would be captain and Hibbert centre half alongside Shane Duffy who returned on Loan from Blackburn.

Now that doesn't bear thinking about. Sooner we hit 40 points the better

Hmmm, I doubt that. A relegated Everton would be worth much less than an Everton in the Premiership. If push comes to shove the board will do what's right for the shareholders and do everything they can to make sure that relegation is just a word and not a reality.

We really need a win to settle the nerves. And the earliest it'll come is against a Pulis WBA team, beat them and look half decent and we can kick on. Lose it and we're in trouble. It's not even conceivable really, it can't be allowed to happen.

We were saying some thing on those lines for the Hull game.

I know it's unlikely but the club must be planning incase it happens. We lose 75% of our income and with no money to pay anyone we would have to sell most top players.

What would actually happen to the club? it's a serious post and not a doom and gloom wind up.

Does anyone here have a clue?

No we would not go bust.

It would however damage the club

People aren't seriously worried about relegation are they?

It's a poor run but Martinez knows how to survive in this league
