Would anyone else hate to Louis Saha leave?

Rumours are going around linking Saha with a move away from Goodison Park in the near future.

After hearing these I was very dissapointed, Louis Saha (on his day) is a world class striker who could get into any club side in the EPL. Recently he's been back on form and its showing as he's back scoring again.

Sometimes he can be frustraiting but for me thats all part of his talent.

He can make you so frustrated that you want to run onto the pitch and kick the [Poor language removed] out him, and then score one of the nicest finishes you've ever seen.

Does anyone else agree?

I've always been a fan of Saha.. I don't think we could find anyone better atm.. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be looking, just saying.

Despite his goalless run, I thought he played very well. Not the ideal lone striker, but he's a valuable asset in the new system.

The rags are saying Monaco are in for him and are dangling Mbokani in front of our noses like a carrot as bait.

I wouldn't take the swap right now, as we can't afford to gamble on an unproven striker mid-season at the cost of one we know can go on a run of goals and looks like he's ready to do so right now - I would though in the summer.

When I heard we turned down a reported 8million for him.....well, you can imagine. I was amazed.

He then repaid us by a long line of poor performances and hardly any goals. Ok he did score for a while, but looked way off the mark for a long time. If he can keep up his performances and goal scoring of late, then yeah, I'd be sad to see anyone leave who is in form. Maybe the formation didn't suit him, maybe it's dependant on who he is playing with, all I know is that there is a great striker in there somewhere, who we have hopefully just again found

NOT me , Dawg ..

Toccy's your man .

I've given him a lot of stick, but with hindsight it was the formation as much as anything. 2 games in a 4-4-2 and he's scored twice. Not a coincidence.

Wait there, sort yourselves out.

He was hit last week and everyone wanted rid of him. Come on lids, lets try and be consistent eh?

4-5-1 =/= 4-4-2

He's had some space to operate, and now can do more than just hold the ball up and bring the crowded, sluggish midfield into play. We've been moaning about no one shooting from distance, but now twice in two games Saha has had the space to fire in two 25 yard beauties.

Ergo, it's the formation that's changed. Not him. He's class, but inconsistent. Right now he's having a good spell, let's hope it lasts.

Hi there, but surely you'd want to put that shirt on a younger, fitter, hungier player??

Or wait another year to get a goal?

If they had the same or better talent than Saha, yeah, sure I would.

Unfortunately, we don't have any strikers at the club now that can fill his boots and we're skint.
