I'm remembering early this Sunday morning of Lee Dixon's revelation during a group stage game of a recent World Cup:

"There are no easy games at this tournament. Most of these teams are full of internationals."

Also, it's almost certainly factually incorrect given the way fixtures are determined. Arsenal and Man United played each other in September in 2023 and 2022 and 2019. It's not just that games of that 'stature' aren't rare early in the season, that fixture itself isn't rare early in the season.

In Gary Neville's head, Man United are in the title race.
