what about Beckford?

No way he should have ever made it to the top league. His exception was that goal vs Chelsea. That was a beaut

He scored 11 goals that season, doesn't seem that bad. He was a championship player, but a poacher... Knew where the net was.

Scored against Chelsea, Liverpool... I personally liked him, even if his attitude was a bit off.

I think you are getting him mixed up with Stuart Barlow.
Clean through at anfield 3 times with the score at 0 0 and he blazed over the bar every time. They obviously then scores a last minute winner. That game still haunts me to this day

Little before my time, but I remember dad coming home after the game pulling his hair out over 'jigsaw'.
