I can kind of understand that. There's camera's on them pretty much all the time and a whole industry looking to take anything, regardless of context or even actual content, and misrepresent it for gossip and vilification.

The diving and feigning injury is the the biggest scourge on modern day football, closely followed by the greedy forwards who are more worried about their brand than their team (ronaldo being the template for them all). Diving has been there for a long time mind, but it's an illustration of the pathetic mindset of the modern player.

The lack of diving in the women's game was the most refreshing aspect of the recent euros.
