I've noticed that a lot of the American Stadiums are huge, so they must be quite impressive.

Goodison aside, this is my favourite so far.....The Mestella in Valencia, to see them draw against Real Madrid back in 2005

p.s. I sat on the back row on the stand to the left......don't look over the back or look down if you don't like heights, shizer

RFK Stadium (Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium) - My favorite stadium because of the MASSIVE amount of history inside its walls.

The best part about it was how the stands bounced.

It used to seat 56,000 fans, but after stands were removed to make room for a baseball field, it now seats 46,000 people.

Sonny Jurgenson and Billy Kilmer days ruled that venue.

The 80's were the glory days (Sonny and Billy were in the 70's but we didnt win much then. But, we could have if Lombardi didnt pass away). I could put tons of videos on here of all the great things that have happened inside RFK.

And I forgot to mention that every time I even drive past RFK, like I did last week, I get chills thinking about the greatness that happened inside. I've only been in it once though :(. And that was for the US Open Cup final last year, which didnt end well.

Proper football stadium there, damn near straight up from the pitch...I'd be brickin' it though if I were stuck up on that top corner bit to the North. One too many bevvies and a goal celebration later could see you swan diving to the pavement.

There is only one Big House.... Michigan Stadium, University of Michigan, since 1927.... original capacity 84k, now 106k

And, yeah, when I was a kid we had season tickets.

I could not believe my eyes when you can just peer over the back........crazy yet immense!

how did you get tickets lid?

box office on the day for smaller games? I fancy catching some La Liga, haven't done Spain yet for footy.

Not sure I would recommend how we went about it, but....we booked a trip to Valencia, then realised they were playing Real when they had Becks, Zidane, Figo etc, so we looked through the internet and found some websites god knows if they were legit or not, were selling tickets for £150+ if I remember rightly. So, I'm thinking it has to be a sell out, which it must have been. We walked to the ground the day before and found the ticket outlets were closed. Some old man (there looked about 10 of them circling about) rocked up and said do you want tickets.......for 30 Euros a pop!!? Hell yeah I want tickets. We still weren't sure if they were dodgy until we got there the next night, so they must have been legit. My sister had previously been over to San Siro to watch Arsenal play Inter, and did the exact same thing.....only error with her, is that she failed to ask if the tickets were sat next to each other, she sat the opposite side of the stadium to her chap, stinker!

Atmosphere was totally different. We got caught up in some kind of wine and food festival going on, no one around us cared about what was going on in the game, bizarre! Anyway...hope that helped =)
