Does Higgins still have an elite game or is he over the hill? Hard to see who can beat Selby at the Crucible right now - might catch him cold in an earlier round but longer matches he's nails.

It will be someone else next year. Selby hasn't been great the last few years. Completely deserved this years though.

Higgins has had a good season.
He’s changed a few things about his game which helped him.
Some of these kids coming through just go for everything now though and that’s how the games going.
Hearn retiring yesterday and Trump coming out with his statement about how the game needs a younger audience will no doubt change or even create new events.
The format of the World championship shouldn’t change in my opinion as it’s supposed to be tough.
