Still think if Murphy can get his game together he has it in him to win, he has a more complete game, but he needs to limit table time for yize, don’t let him build his rhythm…. Lots of people don’t like it but Murphy needs to up his safety game and make it a battle of attrition

Murphy doesnt have a very good safety game. The fact that Allen and Selby do meant they were able to push Wu a lot harder than Murphy has.
Frankly Murphy has been lucky to be only 10-7 behind based on what I’ve seen. He has had to play some very high level stuff in terms of his break building just to cling on somehow. Any drop in that and Wu wipes the floor with him today given his safety struggles which I don’t see improving regardless.

I'd say he's a streaky player, but given the momentum shifts in snooker these days, I'd say everyone now is.

"playstation snooker" (is it even a thing?) has been a phrase this WC has born. Yize has proven he's one of the best at finding ridiculous pots, he struggles in scrappy frames to force an advantage, everyone he's faced has offered him solid gold chances and he's regularly taken them.
He's lucky he's not in the pre Hendry era, he might well be 22 years old, but a slow as you like Davis would put a decade on him in a long drawn out final.
