To be fair to Graeme Dott, he made THREE world finals. Wilson would need to make another to even reach his levels.

I said it was a washout, this tournament, and so it has proved.

Any of the Ronnie finals against Hawkins and Carter spring to mind: foregone conclusions. Hendry versus Nigel Bond was a particular wipeout.
