Sensational, if he can play to this standard and with the consistency he's shown this two weeks, it won't be O'Sullivans WC. (Thought his candor about the recent weight loss was very honest and showed very humbling humility) Closest I've seen to this standard but to a lesser spell was Higgins when he battered everything in front of him and won a tournament losing just three frames in Total a couple of years back. The standard is so so high, and Murphy goes tenth alongside Jimmy White for ranking tournament wins.

Replaying Higgins from from the tour championship on itv4 currently. In ten frames he had a total of 14 points scored against him. Winning the trophy that week he dropped just three frames all in. Only Murphy two weeks ago or so has hit such heights of consistent impressiveness.
