I had Stones and Maguire to score headers today at 350/1 gutted Maguire didn't get one

..I like a bet but I rarely bet on footy. I also never back anything with odds of less than 10-1 but following Royal Ascot I had a few bob in my SkyBet account and i’ve popped it all on Uruguay to beat Portugal @ 9/5. I’m surprised at those odds, I thought Uruguay would be a lot shorter.

With a bit of luck, i’m hoping to have my ante-post Cheltenham bets covered for next Spring.

They must be doing it online because you never see a female along at Hills or Laddoes around here.

Surely there's a penny to be made in these 3rd round group games.

Like some teams looking to finish 2nd for an easier path to later rounds.

Or the likes of France v Denmark. If that finishes a draw it would mean both teams go through without taking any risk. Denmark would finish 2nd behind France and that completely snuffs out Australia.

I've taken the 0-0 at 6/1... and a little punt at there being no cards at 9/1

The Croatia/Argie group at 7 pm has a few interesting permutations as well.

...phew, that was closer than I thought but I’m now we’ll in profit on the World Cup and have a nice bunce for my Cheltenham ante-posts later this year.

...I understand plenty of punters cleaned up on a Request a Bet providing big odds on every team to score at least two goals. Panama were the ones who looked unlikely but got their two resulting in a lot of money being paid out. Wish I would’ve noticed it.
