I backed France and Benzema at the last Euro's and they were truly awful. For that alone I wont touch them. As for Portugal I dont fancy them, tough group will take it out of them and not a great squad either. 33/1 on my coupon here from PP though if you are going to back them.

France are in a relatively easy group, so a top goalscorer bet on one of theirs could be of interest. Not sure if Giroud will start many games, but a hat-trick against one of the minnows will almost guarantee a pay out. He's a whopper 66-1 with Paddy Power.

I backed Chile 12 months ago at 50-1. The other one worth an interest is Hazard @ 40-1 to be player of the tournament. Belgium could go well and the award is voted by the press. I'm having a couple of quid on him.
