sorry, can't include baines or felli, they seem like blue tinted choices, they've never really played at the highest level either

You're obviously influenced by what you watch, and I watch more of the English, German and Italian leagues than any others by a distance.

But I'd honestly say Germany have the best international squad in the world. Better than Spain for my money, and by a distance. I could have easily put Buffon in goal but otherwise I stand by that! Hummels is like the world class version of Jagielka -- and only 23 -- Gotze will be the best midfielder in the world within 3-5 years, Reus is playing some of the best football in the world at the moment and Lahm is Lahm.


EDIT: I may actually swap Vidal for Bastian and go for six Germans!

I said they have a better squad. I didn't say they were the better functioning team.

Belgium have a better squad than Ireland by a margin of about 1 million percent, but only one of those teams even qualified for the last major international tournament, and it wasn't Belgium.

I think Germany can boast a range of top quality strikers and forwards, which is what Spain lack in comparison. Torres ffs. Torres.

It's all just opinions though.
