I cant believe how little the frontmen contributed tonight. Saha clearly isnt match fit, and Yakubu clearly isn't over-bothered.

I really hope that Moyes gives Victor a start on Sunday. Yak needs to take a long hard look at himself as his recent contributions have been zero.

everyone calls yakubu lazy, but what did cahill do today apart from spawn our best chance?

theyr great when they score, [Poor language removed] when they dont, give them a break and blame the suppliers

Last season he atleast worked a bit, this season it's like he really can't be assed. Maybe Moyes should give him a slap and fine his wages for being a lazy [Poor language removed]. That should kick start the lazy get into gear again.

he did get married in the summer, if his wife is in the uk which i reckon there is a high chance of, likelihood is two newlyweds might be putting their physical efforts into certain 'other things'.

Yawn.

Lets all blame Yakubu when things aren't going well. Typical Evertonians to be honest, some would rather have Johnson or Bent back.

We are luck to have a player of Yak's quality, possibly the only world class player on our books.

He never usually goes 2 games without showing anything though. Its usually one [Poor language removed] [Poor language removed] off lazy Yakubu game, then its ah that why we love him in the next as he knocks one in.

If he doesn't pull his finger out against Newcastle and show some effort and do what he is paid to do people are rightfully gonna be pissed off with him.

What could he or Saha do today?

Standard sat back and cut off all the space and we had no creativity in midfield.

For me Yakubu does alot for us. He won't run around but he's intelligent and he brings people into the game. Sadly people aren't clever enough to understand this.

What he is paid to do? You do realise he's scored 4 goals in 8 games this season. 25 goals in 41 games since he came.

He's quality and the least of our problems, there are lots of players I'd drop before the Yak.

Abysmally wrong, he is there to be supplied, its the suppliers who arent doing there job, however nobody can see this as they are blinded by the sun shining from mikels arse

Never thought I'd ever see the words Yak and World class in the same sentence, unless they were bridged with the word 'not'. never mind. Personal opinion and I'm in a bad mood.

Work rate. Let's start with Arteta, the man with the jet back hair, never out of breath and not a bead of sweat on him , the women love him. To me he runs hotter and colder than the taps in my house. Tonight for instance, well I'll ignore the usual attack on his 'imaginary dead ball skills' - what gripes me is is lack of 'off the ball running'.

When he plays a pass, his lack of movement then is astonishing! He used to run into space , run behind the defence for the next ball, But now? He appears happy enough to lay the ball off and 'walk to his next position'!

The lack of anything resembling movement or cohesion from the front two goes with out saying. Saha's always going to be 'not quite match fit' - He was never 100% in his days at United or Fulham and at the moment, The Yak looks like he's been watching too many MOTD's of Berbatov and seems to believe that you can amble round the pitch, fall over and get paid for the pleasure. Maybe starting on the the bench wouldd shake him up a bit?:(
