Words Which Annoy You Intensely

it doesnt annoy me. But im puzzled by the expression " in the cab of his bus". I thought cab was a taxi. So in the taxi of his bus??
 
"Literally"
Gets misused so much people now use it in context where they mean the exact opposite of its definition.
"I literally lost my head last night"
Should be:
"I figuratively lost my head last night"
Your head did not leave your shoulders. But it doesn't have the same ring to it so people will continue to misuse it. The stupid thing is, it's been misused so much that its own contradictory use is now included as its "informal use" definition.
 
Didn't they also replace Brainstorming with Thought Cloud, because Brainstorming was offensive to people with Epilepsy?
