Stupidly didn't use the yellow letter on the second guess when I knew where it had to go given the second and fourth letters. Then used the less obvious guess on the third. Could have done it in two if I was concentrating.

Wordle has led to some serious self loathing at the minute.

What's everyone's strategy? I write the same first word each time because it has the 5 of the 8 most commonly used letters in it and usually one of them is in there

No starting strategy. Think of a 5 letter word and go for it. Can't be arsed with maximising vowels and all that. There's probably a list of those type of often used words that are avoided as being the answer.

I want that pure 1 hit Wordle. And the purest Wordle relies on divine inspiration rather than the trifling tactics or strategy of mere mortals.
