I was struggling the think of a third word. Considering my recent travails the last thing I wanted was to not get it today!

Thanks for your concern and well-wishes by the way. Whenever I see any of you posting on other threads I think of you not just as Evertonians but as part of the small but perfectly formed Blue Wordling gang and it always makes me smile.

I’m still using Mrs TT’s iPhone and now getting a drop down asking if I want a hint as soon as I get today’s game. I assume I would have had to sign up or pay for it but, to me, the point of Wordle is to test myself and be satisfied when I get it in two or three goes. There are enough cheat sheet sites that offer help, including the actual word (remember my Greek friend?) without Wordle itself offering.

Is it a new thing or is it something to do with Safari?

Got lucky with my 2nd word but had to really think about my 6th! The thing about playing in hard mode is you have to use the letters you've already got, so can't try out six new letters.
