Pretty much did every variant including that middle letter today.

Does everyone keep typing the same letters that they've got in subsequent guesses or do you throw others in to narrow down letters? I'm a purist, feels a bit outside the spirit of the rules doing it another way.

There's a couple of difficulty levels. I think the hard one does it your way.

Yes I sometimes type in a word that is clearly wrong just to see other letters or where letters could be.

I think tomorrow's word might be fanny.

I had anal the other day - not literally, and it did take me a while to get the B at the start.

Yes I sometimes type in a word that is clearly wrong just to see other letters or where letters could be.

I do this all the time. I don’t get many words right in 3 or 4 guesses, but I almost always get it eventually. There’s that Word Master site which is really Wordle on repeat, and I got up to 44 in a row before I finally missed one.

Coincidentally saw the TV programme today for the first time. It’s a good game this!!! Madame Allezlesbleus is hooked on a similar game on her Kindle. 5/6 words to be spelled out from a choice of 5 or 6 letters that solve all the missing words.

My first ever go just then and got the first 3 letters in the right place first go. Took me 4 more goes to get the last 2 though

Banal done me. Never completed it. Was stuck on anal for ages. Couldn’t think of putting a B before anal.
