well Cameron why not listen to what most people in this country want to see and bring back the death penalty for utter scum like this, watched that documentary on the murder of sally anne bowman yesterday and her sister said how's it justice that a convicted killer gets a cushy cell whilst her sister is in a hole in the ground. Make a law where the murdered victims family gets to choose if the killer gets life in prison without parole or the death penalty would be 100% behind it, tia sharp, april jones and now this all 3 very tragic murders by remorseless individuals something needs to change

Does that include the 100s that were wrongly convicted of murder?

The poor little boy who now doesn't have a father. It's just horrible. RIP. :(

David Cameron saying this country will be absolutely resolute in it's stand against violent extremism. Yet attacks from extremists seem to be becoming more common. Something needs to happen. It's not fair on any of the good people in this country, at all, and it's not fair on the religious people who are not extremist in any way.

Explain to his son when hes older how daddy was a soldier

A solider who did not die fighting in a conflict abroad or trying to save a friend in a theater of war, No he must be told how his dad was butchered to death in the middle of a busy street in our capital city by two men known by the counter terrorism group because of there links to a group of Muslim extremists who are allowed to spew hatred and bile towards the men and woman who fight for this country, so much so they influences people to carry out these heinous crimes

behave so these two ****ers are innocent? or tia sharp's killer? or Peter Sutcliffe? or Mark Bridger? or Ian Huntley? or how about Ian Brady? that's 7 murdering scum that are guilty as sin and shouldn't be breathing the same air as the rest of us. Unless supermax prisons are introduced our justice system is a disgrace to the victims and their families in these crimes and decent honest people are starting to get sick of it

Here is one of the 100s,

Stefan Kiszko was convicted in 1976 for the rape and murder of an 11-year-old Lesley Molseed in 1975. He spent 16 years in prison before he was released in 1992, after a long campaign by his mother. He died of a heart attack the following year at the age of 41. His mother died a few months later. In 2007, Ronald Castree, of Shaw, near Oldham, was found to have the same DNA as Lesley's attacker and was convicted at Bradford Crown Court.

Trouble is mate, if we had this thread soon after, for example, the Birmingham pub bombings, which if you are old enough to remember them, had the same level of revulsion, 6 innocent men would have been executed by the state.

I understand where you are coming from, but I wouldnt have the death penalty here because, IMO, it would result in fewer convictions, as juries would know the consequences of getting it wrong. Doesnt mean I wouldnt want those named above to rot in hell though, and the penal system here also needs looking at, to put it mildly.

Many thanks.

DNA 'evidence', usually considered to be one of the strongest forms of proof, shown to be inaccurate. That man and dozens more would be dead if pro death penalty people had their way.

You have the death penalty for cases that are 100%

if it 99.9% then no death penalty.

those 2 yesterday 100% did it.
Dale Cregan 100% killed a father and son and 2 police woman.

if there is any doubt what so ever. no death penalty.

I honestly don't think putting someone to death would give any more solace for the families of the victims. This horrific crime can't be reversed no matter what becomes of the culprits.

Of course I've never experienced anything like this, so I can't really comment.

And there's cells full of murdering child sex offenders wanking about their crimes in a cell because you've got yours. Then there's mothers and fathers having to live with that thought every single day.
