Women's world cup

I love women's football, class my self as somewhat of an expert on it (I tried for ages to make that sound less knobbish and have failed so just going along with it...) and am really looking forward to this World Cup.

Really cant be bothered with the sexist debate side of things but it will be an exciting tournament.

Women's football is starting to get some decent funding, it wont change overnight though. It will never compare to the mens game and shouldn't have to. It can be enjoyed for what it is.

Top leagues are now getting to the position where their players can make a decent living out of the game, they will still have to get jobs after their career more than likely but that's life.

It's not a word I disagree with, it's a nonesense word that has no relation to this, and your view that the BBC promotes misandry has no basis.

I presume you'll see your argument through and maintain that lower league clubs should get no funding from outside
Jeez I think you imagine most of what I say. Or don't understand it. Or deliberately don't understand it to try and wind me up. lol

Whatever.

You are clearly not balanced - terms like feminazi and calling the BBC misandristic are from the lunatic Men's rights brigade and have no basis in, well, anything of substance.
I believe women's football is deserving of more funding, especially as it was actively worked against for so many years by FAs and international organisations. Everton do not attract the interest or revenue of Man United but we get a big cut of the TV revenue.
I don't necessarily agree with Hope Solo on the funding they should get, but she didn't call 'men' chauvinistic she said that male chauvinism was entrenched in FIFA, and I'm more inclined to believe a woman who has been actively involved in a sport than someone who calls her Feminazi for expressing her view.

Neither are you to be fair

On these sorts of issues you're very hard line from what I've experienced

Fine if that's the way you see the world, but I wouldn't chastise others for lack of balance when you aren't exactly balanced yourself

I doubt I will be watching any of it,not because its women, just the fact when I have tried it has been incredibily boring, hope its a good tournament and with all the teams good luck, but I wont be adding to the viewing figures

Looking forward to this. I know nothing about it but should be fun. Alayna enjoyed the Japanese teams in the past, they always played the best football. No idea about the current team though

The England Women's games are all on BBC 1
All games are on a mixture of BBC Red Button / BBC Sport Website / BBC Four and BBC ALBA for Scotland games

Was just disagreeing with him saying he was balanced...

Not a hard line, I do have opinions. It’s not always a positive to find balance in arguments...
