Skill level in the men's u20s is several levels above the women's game mate. That's simply not debatable.
This is a stupid argument.

These are the best WOMEN players in Europe.

Therefore the skill level is the top level for women's football.

Why does the "level" matter anyway. We support Everton and we have been utter crap for decades. Should we all just jib it off and support Manchester City because they are of a better level?

Why do people support Southend or Runcorn etc?

You mean the world best u20's who have top level academy coaching and world class facilities from about 5 years old?

Your comparison is like saying the skill levels at City's U20's are levels above prescott Cables first team. One has a huge budget and resources behind it, the other hardly has any funding and a lot of the players have part time jobs, but play out of the love of the game.

They've had no funding? The womens game is a horrendous loss leader for all the major clubs. Even the ladies in their second devision are on ridiculous wages

I hear that UEFA made these losses generously help with ffp some years back. Its why the sky brand teams suddenly showed an an interest where previously they had none.

Remember when the rs basically bought half the Everton ladies team and went from nomarks to challenging for the title overnight and Everton went down? Then Man C and even Man U started teams where previously they had staunchly refused. This is when my interest in ladies' football nosedived.

That was a riveting game. Fierce competition for 120 minutes. Two sides with 100% commitment. Seen many mens games where one or both sides is strolling through without much concern for the effort or seemingly the result.

I’d be thrilled if any of our attackers could stay onside, while picking up that ball over the top, and chip the keeper like that.

Usmanov's nephew the last few years drove a big recruitment drive, including bringing Toni Duggan back, massively backfired as she's out all the time getting smashed spending her inflated wage.
