Which made it an even better opportunity for us. We should've let those other teams bomb out while we treat it the same as any other fixture. Try and beat everybody, play our strongest team whenever we can. We'll likely have only 42 or 43 (maybe even 41) games this season now and I bet we still put out a dog of a team in the FA cup in January.
Probably, I dunno the thinking personally. But it's very disappointing.

Wolves rested 9 players we should have played our best team hopefully gone 2 or 3 up then took them off..we aren't even playing till Monday fffffs!
It turned out to be a bad decision by Moyes but let’s get something right, he wasn’t resting players, he was giving some other players a chance to stake a claim. There’s a difference.
I was quite pleased to see Dibling and Barry starting as was many other blues… until it started going wrong!!
And the likes of McNeil and Tim especially, didn’t do themselves any favours either.

And had more than enough time to get back up. Keepers practice this as much as anything else.
He did get backup. The problem is he had to make another save almost immediately. He perhaps could've been faster but he literally had about 2 seconds to make the save then make the second save. The bigger issue is Coleman tracking the man to RB and McNeil ball watching.

As far as I am aware every game is only worth 3 points so that record is pretty much irrelevant. Those team lose a couple of home games a year at most. Chelsea famously never lost at home under Jose I think in his first spell. How many would you expect us to have won?
More than 0? A win away at a side like those can add more than 3 points, shows you can turn up for big games.

The old everton sentimentality does it again!

Seamus should have stopped playing 4 years ago...but cosy everton keep him playing.

I want to win every game. EVERY GAME.
The man has had more injuries than appearances over the last 12 months, and whilst he certainly was not the sole reason for defeat tonight, no sensible person is going to say no to contract after contract worth a few million a time if it's offered.
