With Lindsay Vonn, I’m shocked she’s being allowed to compete with her injuries. Be amazing if she won a medal, but part of me does think “Is this really what’s best for her?” In terms of how bad it could be if she goes off and injures her knee further

I’m guessing it’s because she’s 41. This will almost certainly be her last Olympics. I agree it’s stupid even with that caveat but if she was earlier in her career no way would she be taking this risk.

drone footage has been ace for this.

Watched a bit of the speed skating earlier and the drone footage was very cool tracking behind them. Will be a lot more fun in the shorter events with more skaters too. Don’t think it will be so good with the curling which is most of what I’ve watched so far.

I’m more thinking from a perspective of at 41, she could be risking not being able to walk again - especially if she comes off the track
