For the neutrals it looks like chaos because these are the elite players of the game who all play with each other and so there is no space on the ice.

So you can score with any part of the body or equipment but you aren't allowed to kick the puck in or make a kicking motion.

Pucks frequently bounce off hands and skates and other body parts and go in and getting in front of the jet to deflect a big slap shot from a defenceman is encouraged.

Canada tied the game against Finland with a tip deflection off of the stick of a player.

Yeah, to be honest the quality of play is much better in international hockey vs football, where it seems the guys really don’t play with each other at all. Hockey is a much better watch in that regard

It's a much smaller pool of players and they all play with the opposition too. 82 game seasons are long... There's a lot of familiarity

It’s quality attacking players across the board with defenders that know tendencies, making the right positioning movements, etc

And they seem to all be blistering fast skaters

Bit like Cricket when you think about it. Loads represent different nations that they weren't born/live in. Guessing it's all about funding or being selected etc.

You cannot score with feet or hand. And you can't even "grab" the puck, as in close your fingers on it, just sort of paw at it. (a deflection off a skate would count, if I recall).
