Last season: Bolasie + Lookman + Valencia (wages) + Calvert-Lewin = I could think of far better players to spend out the best part of £40M on. There's just nothing there. Lookman has a chance, I suppose. But then if his own manager who brings him in shows no faith in him, why should we?

You just cannot dismiss Bolasie, he did okay some good highs and the link up with Lukaku was very promising before injury. As for dismissing Lookman and Calvert-Lewin. Under 23 prem championship and then the World Cup with Under 20's.......drops mic

Well if you take the higher end of the fees, which is 28m for Bolasie and 12m for Lookman, it fits his agenda, but yeah, 30m tops for the pair I reckon, its not like Bolasie is hitting any of his add ons.
 

I think we could do with getting some wing backs in, especially if Koeman wants to try setting us up with three at the back

I'll get pelters for this, but I think we'd benefit from having a lad like Robbie Brady on the books

He can play winger, wing back and full back. Someone with that level of versatility would be a good edition IMO

We've missed that since Oviedo left I feel, a player competant in multiple areas of the pitch we can rely on in a pinch

Garbutt is similar, but I'm not sure if Koeman fancies him

He had started to click with Lukaku. Didn't he get 4 assists with him? Imagine if that had continued.
 
it's too bad that Balde didn't fancy us as i think he would be great. Have to assume at some point we will look toward a speedy type.

not too worried. they seem to have a plan this year and be following it.

downright organized approach, i'm not quite sure what we will fume about in august.....(*looks at opening season schedule and realizes there could be plenty)

Very short term evidence. I prefer his career stats to guide me: 10 goals and 17 assists....in 4 seasons.

£27M punt on that. Unreal. I still cant understand it.
