Maybe he has had other things on his mind that have affected his performances somewhat?

Anyway do we need wingers that much when Koeman seemingly prefers to not use them?

I have to agree with tadpole here - also, isn't Klaassen an attacking player? Isn't Lookman an attacking player having a really good int. tournament?

Koeman is the manager. It's on his watch. He brought in almost £40M worth of pop gun attack last season and now we need to go out and replenish because of it.

I dont care if lennon stays for the next 10 years. The lads had a breakdown. I for one support him and would never say I want him to go.

Klaassen is a MF attacking or deep lying. I wouldn't class him as an attacker. Koeman's definition of attacker possibly would.

Last season: Bolasie + Lookman + Valencia (wages) + Calvert-Lewin = I could think of far better players to spend out the best part of £40M on. There's just nothing there. Lookman has a chance, I suppose. But then if his own manager who brings him in shows no faith in him, why should we?
 

Kanchelskis was the best winger I have seen play at the club.........20 goals in 52 games and lord knows how many assists. Wish we could find another like him.
 
Why do we necessarily need wingers? I still haven't got a clue what Koeman's preferred Everton formation is. If he does want to go down a winger formation we need to buy 2-3 of them and we aren't often linked with proper wingers.
 
Bolasie cannot be described as anything other than a winger.

Not even as a FIFA-generation "wing forward" or a traditional inside forward. He is an old-fashioned winger.
