I think this is one of those situations that we get at Everton where you're initially horrified by a transfer rumour because the guy is too old/rubbish/slow/weak/injury prone/recently out of jail. Then, an hour later, you think about our dire situation and the slim chance of any decent transfers, and you suddenly desperately want the bloke you hated an hour ago. Eventually, you're gutted to find that the rumour is nonsense, or the guy signs for Accrington who outbid us. That's where we're headed here, I think.
