My routine when our neighbours will be playing in the final. I will not watch for the first half hour. I will then turn on the game, if they are winning I will turn it off for another half an hour , if they are losing I will watch.

When we next contest a final our neighbours to a man will want us to lose. The rivalry between close neighbours is the most intense, I hope Liverpool FC never again win a game, but I wish absolutely no ill to anybody associated to the club... if that makes sense.

I know this season has been a disaster but in football circumstances can change almost overnight.
The gulf between the clubs is not as great as it currently seems.
