I didn't accuse you of anything. Odd you would jump to that though. A quick glance back through your posts - a huge number of them are referring to either Liverpool or (even more often) Benitez - going as far back as January. Always in glowing terms.

More than a little odd.

Hardly odd given that was a predictable response to what you said mate....counting my references to Liverpool? Why.

I don't blame you having said that given that realistic reference to who is top dog here are unusual on this board. Wednesday night really got to me. We simply cannot go on pretending.

We need to be real don't we? I would love to disrespect them but I'm stuck with a logical and dispassionate temperament and I do admire their ability to be constantly competitive in a way. Thankfully they don't actually win much nowadays but we have consistently underachieved in comparison. We all surely realise that .

Ask yourself would they put up with this? Would they? No. We need to be a bit more ruthless. More bloodthirsty. I like the idea of Bill....a fan as owner and a gentleman in comparison to most chairmen but we allow drift and underperformance as if routine. We have to stop that or we simply won't evolve into genuine big hitting modern giants..

We lost 4-0 to Liverpool not 3 days ago. That alone should be enough.
I agree, it should. But knowing the way Everton like to do things, and knowing how fond Bill is of Martinez, I can't see it happening tomorrow.

I think we needed an overwhelming, nowhere to hide battering today for it to happen imminently.

You think that should Klopp finish 7/8th this season and they crash out in the semi in europe that he should be under pressure for top4 next season or be sacked then mate?

Hope is all we have now, i can't see the board getting rid of him before the end of the season though.

He'll be under pressure to be top 4 as he surely knows. His success at Dortmund buys him a bit of credibility but that currency doesn't last long.

Personally I think Klopp's impact there has been overstated but fact is they do have a decent chance of winning the EL and have boosted morale but knocking United out of the EL and whipping us.

Plus, we havn't won a game since the 12th March, that's seven games winless.

We havn't won in the league since 1st March and we havn't won a league game against someone outside the bottom three since the 6th February.

In most of that time, we've not even played pretty well without getting results.

Essentially, we're dire.

You point to the stark reality.

Frankly its been implosion.

Kenwright falls in love with all his managers, the guy will never sack him , just watch his club become a bigger laughing stock than we are already. !6th place finish for us this season, nailed on.
