You wouldn’t, unless someone in the hierarchy has lost it lolNo. So why would we take them?

I don’t think anyone doubts that Everton are a bigger club. Even in our current run in the top flight (8 seasons, our longest ever by a long way) we have finished ahead of you only once. I just cannot fathom why we would be expected to take players that are continually and completely slated on here game after game. There is no logic to it and yet often posts are made in such a way that these players would improve us.
The question I would ask is how, after the loss of Zaha would any of Tosun, Iwobi, Walcott, Sigurdson or any of the others mentioned periodically improve us?
This. Gas the way our fans assume other teams would take our crap and would think they are good players when they are clearly average!!I don’t think anyone doubts that Everton are a bigger club. Tosun has one good game (at Man City) followed by a howler at home, I forget against who, then injured, came back for a comedy cameo at Brighton. I don’t think we were going to sign him particularly as Benteke bucked up a bit during that period.A fit Tosun would. I thought he looked ok for Palace last year. I think Palace would have signed him without the injury so that's a shame.
Iwobi is debatable. He struggles physically but has technical ability no doubt.
Think we both know the answer on the others......

McCarthy has been ok. Improved our squad, gets about the midfield and a decent passer. Interestingly I never saw him slaughtered on here either. A decent start for you and very unlucky with injuries from memory.probably to the same levels James McCarthy has![]()

His first season with us was excellent but never quite the same after his leg break. Glad he's showing some form with you guys.McCarthy has been ok. He was very good in Martinez’ first season then injuries got the better of him.McCarthy has been ok. Improved our squad, gets about the midfield and a decent passer. Interestingly I never saw him slaughtered on here either. A decent start for you and very unlucky with injuries from memory.

He never really got a run of games after Martinez left and Schneiderlin looked good when he first joined. McCarthy’s attitude and effort a hell of a lot different to Schneiderlin’s though all easy to say in hindsight I guess.yep, looked like he was going to be a real good player but injury put him backwards, bit of a fan favourite when he first joined.
in hindsight would rather of kept him and not signed the likes of Schneiderlin but it’s all fine lines with these things.

I think if there is any truth in us looking for a RW it’ll more likely be someone like that than Zaha. Just don’t think we’re going to lay out that sort of dough on one player this year.To be honest, I’d rather take a punt on Boga, but I can’t deny adding Zaha to our attack would make us a scary proposition to play against
