Wigan in the Europa league next year how much will it wind you up?

We're 2 points off Spurs and yes they have two games at hand, but they are against Chelsea (a) and City(h) as well as potentially very awkward away games at Stoke and Wigan. I had the feeling we were due our bad game in five, hopefully that's out of the way and we can really attack teams with not much to play for (except Liverpool) and hopefully we will sneak in there. Yes bad day today, don't be so quick to write 5th off even if our Champions league hopes are finished. Yes I am very much an advocate of the Europa League, more games but that's what you want as a fan and it makes us a more attractive proposition to join.

It will only annoy me if we don't get 5th and Europa League qualification and they crash out in the playoff round next season

For all these who don't want Europa because of the small squad, and i agree itd screw us over, it does make me wonder what the point is in us turning up every season. Getting CL is a huge outside chance and if its that or nothing why bother? EL is for the fans, if its to the detriment of the team what is the point of any of it if we're better off without the one 'prize' realistically on offer to us...

What makes ne feel worse is that we'll be playing in the premiership next season against Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. Whilst wigan get to travel to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship and FC Bollockov in the deepest darkest depths of Romania, whilst making 20 pence from a Europa cup run.

Genuinely devastated.

not quite genuinely devastated, more annoyed, but best of luck to them, we had our soft cup run as well and messed it up,
it's what we do we can't help it.
