First half we moved the ball decent but had nothing in the final third. Delph did alright.

Second half was about the same. Gordon looked like a player potentially. I'd like to see him get a loan because the u23s just isn't doing it for some of these guys.

Well the only thing i can take out of that is that this squad is nowhere near good enough to be challenging the top 6. Be lucky to get 8th again unless Brands gets a few in to improve us. Really poor throughout. Not sure if we even had a single shot on target against a very poor team who probably wont exist in a few years.

I highly doubt we're going to go into the season with the squad exactly as it is.

Some disappointing performances out there tonight but on the positive side...another clean sheet, and Delph had a good debut.Wigan should have had 2 players sent off.

I'd actually seriously argue that we would've been better off just not playing that game at all. Complete bust on all fronts.

You can say 'fitness' but.. really? we've actually gone backwards from the Monaco game on that showing.
Fortunately Marco isn’t stupid and will have seen more than our moaning clueless fans tonight.

I hope the ref watches that match later this evening and realizes he's wiped his hindside with the beautiful game.
