Why Toffeeweb is great (sometimes)

Just steer clear of many of the comments at the end of the articles and you'll retain some sort of sanity. :D

Didn't read it but Toffeeweb does have a good article every now and then. The article about Carsley was great. I know they take pride in "not being a mouthpiece for the board" and they "call it as they see it" or whatever. And that's OK, players, coaches need to be called out when they are [Poor language removed]. But alot of their demands are so unreasonable and the venom that you see on posts that don't agree with the masses makes you think that some of them are [Poor language removed] fans.

Alot of them confuse us with Chelsea, thinking we're the richest club in the world and becasue of the board is so cheap that we aren't building a billion pound stadium in the middle of Liverpool and they also are so deluded to think that Kenwright has the cash to splash 20M on every outfield position. Oh that and the Moyes OUT! posts.

Yep.

Pretty easy to pick up those who have a basic reasoning skills and have an understanding of the topic at hand and those who, well, don't.

Some valid points mentioned there..........

Sorry I've been away.....I had a heart attack on the last day of the season. I'm in a bad way.

On the last day I was in the Emergency ward in the Midlands. It was my third heart attack.....I've already lost my legs to diabetes and my blood pressure reading is very similar to my mobile number.

As I was being let home this morning the doctor gave me the usual warnings by telling me if I didn't start looking after myself I would not have long left. I told him as long as I get to see Everton start to win things again I wasn't too bothered.

The cheeky [Poor language removed] then said "Listen Vijay, I'm 28 years of age...I run the London & New York marathon every year and belong to a local gym...I treat my body like a temple......I won't live that long! Villa [Poor language removed]!
Vijay sorry to hear about your health ,all the quacks must be the same I had a heart attack a few seasons ago it was actually minutes after Camara scored for Wolves against us, I have the Everton crest on my arm and the quack smiled and remarked that if I looked after my Diabetes ect and supported a better team my heart would not be under so much stress when I told him where to go I got transferred to Broadgreen and thought that was the reason a few days later the same guy appeared he did both hospitals but Broadgreen was better for heart patients.

I've actually been reading toffeeweb recently. Apparently now that they've had a chance to reflect (and ponder the fact that he doesn't have a contract yet) that they all agree what we have been saying for years now. That Moyes is a great manager. What took them so long??

So in other words he is admitting that the majority of what is written on his site is in fact a load of crap said by negative nay sayers?
