Why that lot get such constant glowing press

This last season has completely done me in terms of Tv and print media coverage of that lot.

The Man City team won an unprecedented domestic treble, and we Had a week of coverage about Man City buying the league and FFP investigations, and seeing alternative tables about how if it was still 2 points for a win, the RS would have won it, and if long shots had counted double they would have won it.

The RS win the CL, and we get stories about a glorious new dynasty, how Klopp has won trophies through community not through money.m and how signing Salah has reduced hate crime in the city (clearly a good thing, but a very specific take).

Then Ruperts tower been graffitied twice by “vandals”, before some Liverpool fans came to clean it up (too late).

The only saving grace really is fans forums, and twitter (to a certain extent) as that’s where the normal football fan’s perception of them can be truly seen - and they are generally hated, even Arsenal and Chelsea fans being torn in the Cl final on who to support.

Roll on next season, and aim to have a Sky-free, BT Sport-free, print media-free season of just going the game, watching the blues, and finding the occasional stream with the volume turned down.

They got financial fair play slurs hurled at the for the first couple of days after their title win by most media outlets - RS press ???

Guardiola got asked by a 'journalist' was he taking secret payments in the press conference at Wembley immediately after we won the FA Cup
and landed an unprecedented treble. Just unheard of and scarcely believable he would be asked such a question at that moment in time.

How about this gem of a headline from the Liverpool Echo?
You really do just have to laugh!
Appalling story so the word Everton highlighted , Liverpool wasn't, it's not a poor paper , it's a nasty scummy one.
THE LIVERPOOL ECHO is one of the reasons LIVERPOOL FANS think they can act like NONCES.

This is the only one which is a mistake - putting my digital/work hat on most CMS systems have the option to add a link to a chosen page automatically when certain words are used. They clearly forget Everton is a place and could be used in any other context, when obviously Liverpool will be used to say the city many times. So it's a rush job where the published article wasn't proof read, which is not a surprise with that paper/group!

I also can't believe the coverage City got - they're the first team EVER to do the domestic treble and that includes when Liverpool dominated and people took the League Cup seriously...ah I may have just answered my own question there...

Kopites needed a poster boy to stop battering muslims.

Mo Salah made three back page headlines today for holding w fish...

Pep is littered with having thoughts about a sabbatical because of RS pressure

The unbiased BBC on their web page released the Premiership fixtures with a picture of Van Dick holding the CL cup???
Totally bizarre!
