Why our form has taken such a dip?

Another kopite pretending to be a blue.

Imagine doing that. Remember the one years ago on here pretending to be a blue, he was from Preston and claimed Evertonians we're waving the newspaper the scum at the away end.

Lying about something like that while pretending to be a blue.

It's beyond sad.

Under Martinez the majority of our good performances - particularly away from home - were based on attacking on the break with pace. Southampton and Stoke away last season were good examples of this. In Martinez's first season a lot of teams were not prepared for this but by his second didn't allow the space for us to break into and our good performances started to dwindle. Over his time with the club, though, I saw more memorable performances away from home than at home. At home we struggled to break teams down because, in the main, they do not push up so much and attacking space is limited and our lack of individual creativity compounds this. Second half of last season and so far this we seem to have lost any pace and speed of play that we had previously. Not sure if this is down to Koeman's tactics, fitness or something else but it sure is grim watching at the moment.

Our form has dipped because we have gone back to the Martinez school of defending. Defence Too old. Midfielders inconsistent (gueye excluded) A few scapegoats (Barkley and rom) and a couple of players who are not as good as we think (Coleman and Barry) we have left those injured and out of favour who don't allow us competition for places.

Our form has dipped because Koeman has lost the plot.

Still think our club is too interested in non football matters instead of success on the pitch. All we seem to be is some sort of local charity/community service these days . What with free schools being built on spellow lane, players going around feeding the homeless, dishing out £250k to a sick Sunderland mascot etc.All very nice but across the park the RS focus on what matters, enhancing their stadium capacity and getting to cup finals and competing on the field. We need more ruthless men at the top.
You are a knobhead of the highest order

Our squad needs updating. On Sunday there were still more Moyes players starting outfield than the other two, that's down to lack of investment by Kenwright and poor signings by Martinez.

Martinez set us back years from where Moyes
If there's one thing RK has made crystal clear it's just how poor Martinez did in the transfer market.
3 1/2 years after Moyes departure and our new manager plays more of Moyes acquisitions. That's shocking. Not only that but RK's entire budget was provided by the sale of a Moyes player for huge profit.
It all shows how great a job Moyes did in finding value and how poor Martinez was. It was that, more than anything else, that set the club back.
