Neither of Krul's saves were particularly special, I'm quite sure the other lad could've saved them too. It was pure mind games.

Had Krul conceded late or lost the shoot out, we would all be saying the opposite

had the brains to think of it, the guts to do it and the luck to pull it of, that puts him 3 up on Moyes and a few others for that matter

If it's OK to bring in players late on to take them, It's OK to bring on a keeper to save them...It's a wonder it took so long for somebody to think of it.

I've had players whinging in uber McEnroe style about being taken off after 117mins... do you WANT to take a penalty??... cue lightbulb moment... oh yeah ok

Why is Cillessen the first keeper anyway? Imo they have Vorm who is a top keeper, why not play him?
