Why do people complain about the weather in Britain? I hear people who've never been there mock it.

You never hear it about Belgium, Holland, Denmark and other countries in that part of Europe.

There's not much wrong with the UK. It's not perfect, but I haven't been anywhere that is. Mind you, there are thousands of
Aussies who'll tell you this is and that it's the best country in the world. I don't know how anyone can be qualified to make that claim.

Isn't the weather dire most of the time?

Also I've read you lot have no air conditioning. Granted you don't need it most of the time, but no A/C in the summer is unforgivable.

Its not that the weather is dire, its just that we get so much of it! Comes from living on a rock in the Atlantic I guess. Almost no one has A/C at home. Might use it like 4 times a year, if that.
