Why do Sky hate us

They see us as traditional and non-threatening. The club owners have seen to it that they have place men crawling all over most media outlets and Sky are no exception. They have been encouraged to dampen down expectations of Everton in the past two decades and so there's been a symbiosis at play: they think nothing of us; we (the club) are glad to go under the radar, and each prosper.

Btw, dont expect that to end under Moshiri. He's cut from the same cloth.
You was going so well, then you just couldnt help yourselflollol

I remember when we were actually top of the league briefly near the start of the season a few years back and they actually blurred our name out like a rude word.

Top six have bigger fan bases than us so they pander to them. They report on them out of commercial need.
Yet non of them fans actually have sky cos they don't have jobs and can't afford it so they go the pub, really sky should send a survey out to ppl who have sky and find out who they support

They don't hate us. We just haven't done anything in the sky sports era.

I love harry redknapps dismay on bt sport last night when someone said lukaku was the best Everton player they'd seen

Very rarely mentioned

often overlooked

Why are we hated by the press and Sky

We're note hated - their focus is on viewing figures and in order to do that they pander to a small number of clubs who because of participation in the CL in recent years have developed a worldwide audience. Until we do that we will be on the periphery.

...Sky is a business and they pamper to the ratings. The Reds and United pull in global audiences, we don't.
Very good point - the majority of Sky subscribers globally are either Man U or RS fans - no wonder they are televised so much....Has Murdoch taken over Sky yet? And if he has are all the rs fans going to cancel their subscriptions seeing as he owns the Scum as well ??

Sky/BT is a ppv service, it has nothing to do with ratings or viewing figures.
They have an Agenda as with all their programming. The politics of Everton, something we as fans and the club hold very dear, is not something they would ever promote. If, in the future, we sell our souls to the devil as the RS have done, things will be very different.
