Why do Sky hate us

We get a decent amount of attention and praise on Talksport ironically.

When Sky bought it, the first few weeks were just dreadful on some shows, as it was obvious they had been told to Skytastic the place. Jim White was the worst culprit.

But now, its settled back into shape a bit. Its almost like the producers and that have actively railed against the approach. The top clubs still get a lot of coverage, obvs, but Jim White has calmed right down, and actually has long segments about Charlton, Blackpool, tons of other clubs.
I used to love the old MOTD and the Big match on a Sunday, regional tv covering teams you never get to see now

I have started tuning into talkSPORT again simply to listen to Jim's programme which has surprised me with its quality.

As you say, he does devote segments of his programme to smaller clubs and had a great feature on Blackpool a few weeks ago in which he allowed both Oyston and the fans rep to have their say re the ongoing supporter boycott.

The game on at the moment is terrible from Sky! It's a total City spunkfest.

Commentator ( some no mark ) City NEED to find their first half intensity! Like he's got 10 on them!

What happened to the love of the underdog! Monumental biffs

Yeah, he has turned it round. Or someone has.

He has given a lot of attention to loads of clubs in a pickle recently. His first few weeks were just terrible. There was a thread about them.

I know it's frustrating and I get annoyed with the media at large from time to time but it's up to the club to begin and continue a period of success that grows our fanbase so that it hurts their bottom line to ignore us.

Don't forget before 2008,Man City were a bigger laughing stock than we were and didn't get a mention either.

When they became billionaires and started spending mega-money,Sky started taking a big interest in them.

Let's be honest it nowt new, even back in the days of "Midweak sport special" they would show some Speedway or Ice Skating from Northampton before Everton’s highlights!!!

They see us as traditional and non-threatening. The club owners have seen to it that they have place men crawling all over most media outlets and Sky are no exception. They have been encouraged to dampen down expectations of Everton in the past two decades and so there's been a symbiosis at play: they think nothing of us; we (the club) are glad to go under the radar, and each prosper.

Btw, dont expect that to end under Moshiri. He's cut from the same cloth.
